The BIBS Haidian Academy is a member of the Beanstalk International Education Group and shares the Mission and Vision of all BIBS campuses.
Mission: Beanstalk seeks to empower its learners to become bilingual, multi-cultural and global-minded citizens who are equipped with the knowledge and integrity to function successfully, responsibly and effectively in an ever-evolving global environment.
Motto: Opening Minds, Opening Doors. Our motto represents the opportunities that come from having an exciting and engaging education, an education that prepares students for the future.
Love, Care, Support. This simple motto captures the heart of our culture. We are a community school and we are passionate about providing a safe place where children can grow and reach their potential.
At the BIBS Haidian Academy we also have 5 core values
Respect; Excellence; Service; Accountability; Empathy
These values are designed to provide our students with a strength of character that will help them to be good people above all else. We believe that one of the greatest gifts we can provide to our community is in our partnership with parents to see our core values modelled and passed on to our students.
These values apply not just to our students, but to all members of our community and make up the expectations of how we interact with others and the world around us.
The BIBS Haidian Academy is seeking passionate, student-centred, caring educators who are excited about joining a start-up school and have a positive approach to collaborative problem solving.
Our approach to education is based on: A shared vision for learning, strong values, consistent leadership, future focused programmes, community engagement and a healthy natural environment.
Professional educators who have experience with initiating action, working hard and caring for those around them are welcomed. There is an expectation that all Haidian Academy staff will have a commitment to the BIBS motto of “Love, Care and Support” and enjoy serving others and their community.
There are certain realities that come with working as part of a start-up team in China, and we want educators who are team players, open to collaboration and interested in working in a diverse inclusive environment. Team members must be balanced in their approach to work and understand the need for flexibility, adaptability and a sense of humour.
Being interested in Chinese language and culture is essential; as guests in China there is so much to learn and experience. In addition, we support staff to learn Mandarin to enhance their engagement with our community.
